Cool2Craft is on a mission to raise funds for DonorsChoose.org! We recently kicked off this fundraising campaign with a special TV broadcast and in Tiffany Windsor’s words “we’re continuing until our fundraising is no longer needed.” That’s a tall order that we’re willing to take on to get art and craft supplies into the hands of the teachers at our nations public schools. Tiffany hand-selected DonorsChoose.org as the beneficiary of the Cool2Craft Connection fundraising efforts because of the direct connection to specific needs. Teachers register at DonorsChoose.org and list their specific classroom needs. As donors give to the project you see the exact progress and know when that teacher’s project is fully funded.
It was in a conversation with Tiffany’s sister EcoHeidi Borchers that she had her big AHA moment in realizing that Cool2Craft Connection could help to transform artists’ and crafters’ creative projects into funds to support these fundraising efforts. EcoHeidi and dozens of other artists have projects in their studios that are created for magazines, blogging, tv events, websites, tradeshows, advertising (the list goes on and on) that sometimes just get boxed up and set on a shelf. Now these artists have a place to donate their handmades for sale with 100% of the net proceeds going to raise funds to get art and crafts supplies in the hands of our kids!
Tiffany Windsor, EcoHeidi Borchers, Linda Peterson, Candace Jedrowicz, Candace Liccione, Lisa Fulmer, Ann Butler, Blumenthal Lansing and many more artists and crafters have donated their projects for sale to help raise funds. 100% of the net proceeds from the sale of Cool2Craft Connection handmades are donated to fund projects at DonorsChoose.org.
