Colleen Schaan is an author, designer, and nationally known educator involved full-time in the arts and crafts industry. She describes herself as an overly organized – yet flexible go-getter! She specializes in paper craft design and color theory and has a strong knowledge of product use as a trainer for an internationally known marker company. She travels extensively teaching at certification classes, consumer workshops and art retreat events.
Colleen’s students enjoy her charismatic presence and her enthusiastic and reflective teaching style. She likes to encourage students to look on every experience as a chance to learn and loves to celebrate their successes with them.
Colleen lives in Atlanta, GA with her brilliant and supportive husband and three fur babies, and when not on the road teaching, you can find her either snuggled up with a good book or in her studio writing, designing, and finding innovative projects and techniques to teach in upcoming classes.
