Candace Jedrowicz is planting coffee cup flowers in her sister-in-law’s yard! These flowers will never fade and you never have to cut them back! That’s perfect for a pair of non-gardening coffee lovers! Featured on Cool2Craft TV.

Materials:
Aleene’s Platinum Bond 7800 Glue
Ceramic cup and saucer
Electrical wire – 3′ per flower
Large and small glass blobs
3/4″ PVC pipe – 3′ per flower
3/4″ coupler – 1 per flower
Spray paint to cover the pipe and coupler

candice…please tell me how you were able to drill the hole in the cup and saucer? We
already broke one bit after only 2 sets were drilled. We purchased a ceramic / glass bit
but was upset to only drill 4. Did you use something other than the drill?
Thank you for your response.
Thanks Lynn
Hi Lynn! It sounds like you got farther than I did. I only got 2 sets out of my ceramic bit. I tried a hammer drill, but broke the cup I was drilling.
It might be easier to make them without holes and clean them out occasionally. If they could be “planted” under an awning, that would work.
Aside from that, you might be able to find someone at a home store to recommend something to make the holes. Please let me know if you find something that works.
I would LOVE to see photos of you cup flowers and share them on our Creative Community Blog!
Blessings,
Candace
