I am having so much FUN with my Luminarte paints and Petaloo Color me flowers. In fact I could not resist completing the leftover flowers from my Inspirations by Julianna segment and making an additional headband for Rich’s niece Aubry. She turns 5 this month and I thought this would be a perfect princess headband.
In the process of completing this project I realized that I was going to need a faster drying glue. So I broke out the glue gun and put the headband together in no time at all! The original instructions for this project called out for Aleene’s Thick Designer Glue which I totally LOVE using but as mentioned I needed a quick drying glue so I could get her gift in the mail ASAP!
To help me out I used Cathie Filian & Steve Piacenza’s NEW Hot Glue Gun Helpers by Plaid. This kit ROCKS! Everything you need to protect yourself while using a glue gun. The kit includes a 14.6″ x 11.5″ mat which is a great amount a space to work on, paddle, press wand, tweezers and finger caps.
