Khadija’s Creative Mind is a feast for the eyes!  Khadija’s crafting is full of delicious colors and curves!  She does Zardozi embroidery, quills, makes jewelry, paints henna designs and she loves to restyle, reuse and repurpose.  This is just a peek at Khadija’s Creative Mind.

“I am having a Creative Mind(according to others)So I start a blog with this specific name :) otherwise I am *A University Student,doing EPM(Education planning & Management)*Psychology Grad *Textile Designer.Fashion is my Passion :) I love Recycling,Reuse,DIY.I enjoy spicing up ordinary things,So I share Tutorials & Techniques of my creative stuff.I am a Friendly girl,You are always Welcome at my blog!you will get hundreds of free Creative Ideas here :) So join me & Enjoy!!”

“This is a mosaic technique basically

I use so many materials for making this wall hanging.

As; glass, mud, wool, stone, paper, beads, ribbons, jute threads, grass, etc.

It’s all about nature and village life, basically.”

Rit Dye Upcycling Contest

Rit Dye Upcycling Contest Announcing Rit Creative Challenge ContestYou are invited to  Share Your Creativity! Rit has announced the first Rit Creative Challenge which is themed around UPCYCLING  – defined as: Laying hands on potential throwaways and breathing new life, quality and value into the result.

How do you enter? All you need to do is upload a do-it-yourself upcycling project to the Rit community -  a project that showcases some creative way you transformed a potential disposable to make it cool and new and useful, with at least the partial help of Rit Dye. Share “before” and “after” pictures of the project, the steps you took along the way, and the Rit Dye colors you used.

Indicate that you want your project to be entered in the contest, confirm that you’re at least 18 years of age, and you’re entered. Simple.

Share as many examples as you wish with the community: your fabulous fashions, your brilliant crafts, your crafty brilliance. If the Rit panel of judges finds a project of yours is truly inspired — based on originality, creativity, and color sensibility — you could win $250 worth of DIY supplies. There will be 3 winners of 3 equal prize packages, each worth a total of $250:

• a $100 gift certificate from our friends at M+J Trimming
